Call for papers at the 2024 Translators Association of China Annual Conference
The 2024 Annual Conference of Translators Association of China (TCG), hosted by Translators Association of China (TCG) and hosted by Hunan Normal University, will be held in Changsha, Hunan Province from March 30 to 31, 2024。The current annual meeting"Promoting Exchanges and mutual learning among Civilizations: The Responsibility of the Translation Community"It aims to gather the strength of the translation industry, build an effective exchange and cooperation platform, better serve the development of the translation industry and enterprises, and provide strong language support for China's international communication capacity building and foreign exchanges。
The call for papers is now open, and abstracts are invited around (but not limited to) the following topics:
Translation and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign civilizations
Practice and research of political discourse translation
Chinese culture translation and dissemination to foreign countries
National language translation and cultural exchange
Translation discipline construction and talent training
Translation qualification examination and talent evaluation
Degree education in translation
Career development path for translation graduates
Language service technology innovation application, ethical safety and standard management
Multimodal large models and generative artificial intelligence
Language service industry government-industry-university-research collaborative innovation
Standardization of language service industry and construction of credit system
Language service enterprise management
The innovative development of language service social organization
Abstracts should be submitted in Chinese or English, with no more than 500 words in Chinese and 300 words in English, and the submission deadline is February 18, 2024。Please fill out the essay collection form (see comment section) and send it to:

1. The title of the email should be in the format of "Annual Paper submission + name + unit".
2. Please upload the paper collection form in the form of email attachment. The attachment should be named in the format of "Annual Conference paper submission + name + unit"。
The Conference Secretariat will send out the results of the evaluation by email before March 15, 2024, and the authors whose abstracts have passed the evaluation may speak at the Conference's sub-forums or thematic forums。
